Hello everyone! Long time no see. While it has been pretty quite on the front end I have to admit, I can assure you Corwood Manual is not sleeping at all… In reality the past months have been filled various projects of all shapes and sizes. I did quite a few reworks, some for upcoming remix albums, some for as-yet-to-be-released box sets, some for purely my own pleasure and others for not-to-distant-in-the-future releases. Without spoiling the party I can tell you it was a lot of fun exploring some new territory with these works, from wonky hip-hop to more abstract cut-ups and collages, everything just kind of fell into place. Recently I also collaborated to a friend’s new album by providing vocals, percussion and synths for a track, you are going to hear that one quite soon-ish. While casually looking at the calendar, I was surprised that it’s been already a year since the latest release… Time really does fly it seems, I absolutely feel it’s time for more music by CM being out there… not just for sitting in the vaults on tapes or hard drives. In fact there is a whole lot a tracks from last year (and to be honest from a few years before that) I did not quite finish yet, that I find myself returning to over and over again. That must count for something, I guess?? I keep you posted. As time is filled with overall craziness all together, I hope you are doing well enjoying your summer!
